This year’s fair will run from Wednesday through Sunday, July 11-15.

On Friday, July 13, Grammy award-winning artist Travis Tritt will headline the main stage. Opening for Tritt will be local favorite Madison County.

“Tritt performed at the Jefferson County Fair in 2009 and continues to sell out shows and stay true and relevant to country music fans across the globe,” Jefferson County Fair Park marketing/administrative assistant Amy Listle said.

A native of Marietta, Ga., Tritt is dubbed one of “The Class of ’89,” which included country music superstars Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson. Among Tritt’s 11 studio albums and numerous charted singles are 19 Top 10 hits, including “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde,” “Here’s A Quarter” and “It’s a Great Day to be Alive.”

On Saturday, July 14, country artist Randy Houser will headline the main grandstand stage. Opening for Houser will be country party band Stetsin & Lace.

Houser is described by the New York Times as “wholly different, thicker and more throbbing, a caldron bubbling over.”

Houser has racked up five consecutive country radio hits and more than 5 million singles sales. He topped the charts with “How Country Feels,” Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” “Goodnight Kiss” and “We Went.”

“Houser spent the majority of 2017 in the studio consumed by his much-anticipated new project due out in 2018,” Listle said.

There are three ticket options for the track area in front of the Wilbert Betschler Grandstand during the concerts. The party pit, reserved seating and bleacher sections are an additional fee and not included with general gate admission.

The party pit is the section closest to the stage and is standing-room only; no chairs are allowed. The reserved seating has labeled folding chairs, and the bleacher section offers a non-labeled reserved seat.

Tickets for each show will range from $10 to $30 with fees and do not include gate admission. Grandstand seats are free with the purchase of gate admission.
