Rental Guidelines & Information
The Jefferson County Land and Water Conservation Department has several tree planting machines available for rent. These planters are meant for seedling tree stock and do not work well for evergreen transplant size trees we offer through our tree sale program. Rather, these tree planters are ideal for the seedling tree stock sold through the Wisconsin DNR Tree sale program or other private vendors selling seedling sized trees. The Jefferson County LWCD also has tree spuds available for your planting needs. If you'd like to rent a tree spud, please stop buy our office. The spuds are available for $25.00 refundable deposit.
