Shelter Spotlight: Kanow County Park
Did you hear the groundhog is predicting an early spring? We're not sure how accurate that is, but we will take it!
If you are like us, you are eager to get out and explore and we happen to have just the spot for you! Just east of Ixonia, Kanow County Park is located in an oxbow of the Rock River. Kanow is spread out over 45 acres and features plenty of space for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. The park also has access for fishing, and even a canoe and kayak launch!
Amongst the trees and next to the river features a shelter, perfect for family reunions, graduations and birthday parties. The shelter will comfortably fit up to 40 guests and other amenities include, playground equipment, a water pump and 2 grills.
