Bikes
Bring any bikes to the Ixonia/Concord Transfer Site at no charge. The transfer site is open Wednesdays from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Any Jefferson County resident can bring bikes to be disposed of at the transfer site. However, other items brought in (appliances, electronics, carpeting, etc.) are only accepted at this site if you are a Town of Ixonia or Town of Concord resident. Bikes brought to the transfer site and collected at the electronics/appliance collection events are donated to DreamBikes, a nonprofit based out of Madison and Milwaukee that refurbishes bikes to be returned to the community and teaches youth important job skills in the process.
