The State Highway 16 Wayside Park is located along the Rock River between Oconomowoc and Ixonia. The wayside is used for picnics, family play, shore fishing, and features a moderately developed canoe and kayak launch. Small boats can also be launched here, but the shallow nature of the river can make navigation difficult.
