Plan Summary
The Jefferson County Land and Water Resource Management Plan for 2021-2030 is an update of the 2011-2020 plan. Based on an assessment of the land and water resources in the county, this report sets forth a strategic work plan for achieving goals toward protection and enhancement of those resources. The overall goal of this plan is to restore, improve and protect land and water resources in Jefferson County because families and individuals deserve to have productive farmland, healthy natural areas and clean water to use and enjoy.
