About Leuder House

Manager:  Terri Jurczyk

What is the Lueder House?

The mission of the Lueder House is to serve as an acute care facility for chronic mentally ill adults who are in immediate crisis but not in need of hospitalization. We serve as a crisis/assessment home for short term placement. Established in 1980, the on-going purpose is to keep adults, challenged by mental illness, within the community and to minimize or prevent psychiatric hospitalizations whenever possible.

At Jefferson County Human Services, no one will be denied access to services due to an inability to pay, and a discounted/sliding fee schedule is available.
