Media Coverage of Judicial Proceedings
Media in the courtrooms is allowed pursuant to Chapter 61 of the Supreme Court Rules.
Media outlets are encouraged to refer to the rules prior to contacting the courts, to ensure that the rules are followed. Pursuant to SCR 61.02 Tom Schultz of the Watertown Daily Times has been named as the Media Coordinator for Jefferson County. All requests for media in the courtroom should be directed to Mr. Schultz for coordination with the assigned judge. (see SCR 61.02).
