A wide, massive 70-100 ft. shade tree. Fast growing and long-lived oak. This acorn tree provides food and shelter for wildlife. Plant on deep, well drained nutrient rich, loamy soil. It is a commercially important hardwood.

Prefers full sun to partial shade & can grow in various soils. Very dark green color year round. Medium growth rate and is very hardy. Used for screening and windbreaks. Pyramidal shape at maturity. Grows 15-20 ft. 12"-16 $25

Native to Wisconsin. This vigorous growing tree has long, soft-bluish-green needles. Prefers sandy-loam soil; avoid clay-wet soils. Makes a good windbreak. Full sun or partial shade. At maturity is usually 60-100 ft.
