ORDINANCE NO. 2001-13
*Supervisory District (Reapportionment)*
THE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, IN REGULAR SESSION THIS 4TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2001, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

(1) That Jefferson County be divided into 30 supervisory districts for purposes of electing the County Board.
(a) County board supervisory district lines shall be automatically amended to reflect assignment of annexed land to an existing city or village ward and that ward's supervisory district. for all annexations since the 2000 census. [am. 11/13/07, Ord. 2007-26]
(b) The Land Information Office is directed to adjust the supervisory district maps accordingly.
(c) The Land Information Office shall, when an annexation is recorded, give notice to the County Clerk, and provide the County Clerk with an adjusted supervisory district map resulting from the annexation. [Amended 02/14/06, Ord. No. 2005-46]
(2) That one supervisor be elected from each district, commencing with the spring election, 2002.
(3) That said 30 supervisory districts be comprised as follows:

(4) All ordinances in conflict with, or contrary to the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

This ordinance shall be effective upon passage and publication.
