Latest News: Effective April 27, 2010, the Child Support Agency will charge fees for certain types of services performed on NON IV-D cases. Non-IV-D are family cases without Case Management Services (commonly called "child support services") from Wisconsin's Child Support program. Families with minor children can apply for Case Management Services (see Application for Child Support Services below). Additionally, Spousal or Maintenance only cases are also NON-IV-D and are not eligible to apply for Case Management Services with the child support program. The new NON-IV-D fees are as follows: Process Income Withholding Orders....................................... $35.00 per request (Employer and Unemployment) To Perform an Account Reconciliation (Affidavit or Certification) $35.00 per year Reconciliation of a Percentage Expressed Obligation................ $35.00 per year (By Court Order)

Application for Child Support Services
To avoid NON-IV-D fees on cases with minor children only, you may apply for child support services. Commencing January 1, 2010, there is no application fee required to apply for child support services. Parents and legal guardians may apply for full Case Management (child support) Services. If one parent applies, both parents receive Case Management Services. However, if the court changes the child's primary placement, the parent with the new primary placement order will need to reapply for services.
