The Jefferson County Health Department provides lead testing for children at risk of lead poisoning.
Lead hurts kids. The presence of lead in any product intended for children is unacceptable. No level of lead should be considered safe. The most common lead hazards are found in homes built before 1978 that have lead dust from lead-based paint.
