Jefferson County Immunization Coalition
The Jefferson County Health Dept. has formed an Immunization Coalition for providers and other interested individuals.
Join the Coalition and find out why 12-24 month old children fall behind on their immunizations. Help to promote fully immunizing children and adults and prevent disease, disability and death from vaccine preventable diseases.
The Immunization Coalition is organizing a Board of Directors to identify agenda items and plan future coalition meetings! If you are interested please call Amy Fairfield @ (920)674-7137 or email amyf@jeffersoncountywi.us
Luke says "Be wise and immunize!"
Gaps in immunization coverage have been identified in Jefferson County. The purpose of developing the Immunization Coalition is to provide a forum where community providers and the Health Department can discuss and improve current immunization practices and communicate with each other. Through this coalition, providers will obtain updated information regarding new immunizations, immunization shortages and changes in protocols. Providers are able to network and share ideas. Ultimately we are working toward a common goal within the county . . . improved communication, education of providers and parents, and IMPROVEMENT in current immunization rates!
