Chemicals (Household and Agricultural)
Bring household and agricultural chemicals to the county’s Clean Sweep events. **Details on these events can be found on the Solid Waste/Clean Sweep/Recycling home page.**
If the following words are displayed: danger, warning, caution, poison, flammable, and/or corrosive, the item can be brought to a Clean Sweep. Click here for a list of accepted materials at the Clean Sweep.
Households and farms are charged $10/car at Clean Sweep events.
Businesses are charged separately based on the weight of material.
Agricultural waste is accepted at the Jefferson Fairgrounds event every spring, and the Watertown Street Department event every fall.
All households, farms and businesses must pre-register for Clean Sweeps. Call 920-674-7430 to preregister.
