About Economic Support Program

The Economic Support (ES) Division serves Jefferson County residents who are low income, are faced with an economic setback or need additional financial support as they working toward greater self-sufficiency.

Contact with the Economic Support Division can be made in person, by phone, by e-mail or through the ACCESS system. You can apply for MEDICAID,  BADGERCARE PLUS, FOODSHARE and CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE as well as report household changes on line at www.access.wi.gov. , by calling the Southern Consortium Call Center at 1-888-794-5780 or Jefferson County Human Services at 920-674-7500 or come into our location at the Workforce Development Center. Spanish interpreters are available.

Documentation can be faxed to the Central Processing Unit at 1-855-293-1822 or Jefferson County Human Services at 1-920-674-7520.
